• A father to two sons, Xikhongelo (2008 April) and Xivoniso (2013 November).

• Currently reside in Johannesburg where he is a Community Activist.

• He became actively involved in politics at an early age;

• He occupied the Presidency of Ben Hlongwane LRC since 1996 to the year 2000 where he was implementing COSAS policies;

• He was also a member of School Governing Body;

• He became an active member of SACP in 1999 which led to the launch of SACP branch in his village, Tshamahansi;

• He joined and became actively involved in the ANC in 2000;

• He was elected the Organizer of Youth Leaders Against Crime in 2001;

• He was part of the Secretariat for Headman Matjeke in 2001;

• He was in the Secretariat for Tshamahansi Community Committee which represented the community on mining expropriating issues in 2001;

• He was the Acting Secretary for Mokopane District Community Correctional Service Forum in 2001 and became a Limpopo Provincial Additional member because of that capacity;

• He served as Tshamahansi Ward 20 Committee member in 2001;

• He became the first ANCYL Branch Deputy Secretary at VUT for 2002/2003;

• He became the Vice-Secretary General of the CIO in VUT for 2002/2003;

• He became the Primarius for Goldfields House (Currently Dikgalala) for 2002/2003;

• He became the Chairperson of SASCO in 2003/2004;

• He became Chairperson of CIO for 2003/2004;

• He was elected as the first SRC President deployed by SASCO and/or PYA for 2003/2004;

• He was elected for the second time as the Chairperson of SASCO for 2005;

• He was elected for the second time as the SRC President for VUT for 2005/2006;

• He was elected the Education and Transformation Officer of SASCO Gauteng PEC for 2005/2006;

• He was awarded a Leadership Prestigious Award in VUT for three consecutive years;

• He received an award for an exceptionally students governance leader in VUT by Students Christian Organisation (SCO) 2005;

• He was awarded a Scholarship for an exchange program in Loerrach University of Corporative Education (Berufsakademie Lörrach) situated in Germany for 2005 Nov to 2006 Feb;

• He was awarded a Merit Certificate for IT National Diploma Project in 2006;
